About me – your partner in employment law

As an independent lawyer I represent employees in all areas of labour law. In my legal practice, the representation of employees is the focus of my work.

In 2012, I successfully completed the specialist course in labour law to prove my theoretical knowledge. I have been a member of the trade union ver.di since 2009 and have been involved in the judicial decision-making process as an honorary judge on the employee side at the Berlin Labour Court (Arbeitsgericht Berlin) since 2014.

In my three years at aba, the professional association for occupational pension schemes, I was involved in the legislative process and coordinated the work of the special committees on labour law, tax law and social security law.

As Head of Division in the Federal Executive Board Administration of the German Trade Union Federation (Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund, DGB), I represented trade union positions on individual employment law and pension policy towards the federal ministries, members of the German Federal Parliament (Deutscher Bundestag) and other interest and stakeholder groups.

After my second state examination, I worked for seven years as legal advisor at DGB Rechtsschutz GmbH, representing members of the trade unions of the German Trade Union Confederation before the labour, administrative and social courts.

I completed my law studies at the Martin Luther University in Halle and at Korea University in Seoul (Republic of Korea) and my legal clerkship in Saarbrücken and Berlin.
